Topic : Access to God Through Love

Love. The singular most powerful gift and weapon by which we have been saved, even before we were born. The fall of man cut the line of communication between man and God and we can all see and feel first hand the effects on the world. This was a serious problem and the solution was not going to be easy but it had to be done, and we can see the solution in John 3:16-17.
John 3:16-18 (KJV);” 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.“
The death of Jesus on the cross of Calvary, broke the hold of the devil on man and gave us first hand access to God again. The symbolic tearing of the veil in the inner sanctum of the Holy Temple in Israel on the death of Jesus was a sign that everyone could become sons/priests unto God and connection with God had been restored. It was no doubt a miracle as the veil would have been roughly 60 feet high (18m) by 30 feet wide (9m) wide by 4 inches (10 cm) thick.
Man no longer needed to use the blood of animals to ask for forgiveness, now the Blood of Jesus would be the final and perfect cover that would allow us worship God directly.
Matthew 27:51 KJV;
“And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.”
His sacrifice was in compassion at our discomfort and pain from being separated, the ultimate gift. By the grace of the Holy Spirit we can now live sin/bondage free, but we are not to take his sacrifice in vain or lightly. The grace we now experience enables the Holy Spirit to dwell in us, to comfort us, empower us and minister the hidden things of God to us as we now are his children.
Ways to Strengthen God’s Love
– To access his presence daily, we need to live a sin free life.
– We need to trust God completely and absolutely. Hebrews 11:6
May his abundant love abide with us always. AMEN.
